Now, did Star 99.9 start or ever call themselves "new" with the switch to 80's, 90's and today?
These guys set new lows every rating book in the "stale" department
99.9 has got to be on the verge of a format change. They are never, ever going to catch 108. They might as well
decide on a potentially successful format.

How about Hot AC? SW Connecticut does not have much of a choice. PLJ and TIC are a little far away for a good signal in some areas.

EZN was Hot AC when it first started as star. They eventually went soft and contemporary. How about a smooth jazz or country format?

I've used to listened to Country 92.5 ,faithfully for years, since it was fired up in 1988 ,at that time ,I remember Country 92.5 was the New Country 92.5 for ages.probably focus on new cuts then the mix of old and new at the time. Now I have no idea what they say now, because I loss interest with the new artists that are coming out now. they sound like rock and roll .I stick to Classic Country instead.anyway I rather listen to old rock and roll now .So now I tune in WDRC,WHCN,WRCH,WEZN,WEBE and WPLR until I get tired listening to their shallow playlists then the Ipod gets fired up with no repeat tunes for hours on end.Back to the topic; I can understand the New term for about a year, even thats to long but 5 or more years come on.
