Been a paid employee in the industry (most of it low wages!) since 1974, with a couple of years as a "radio groupie" leaning from my mentors before that. Had the good sense to go to college and graduate school, and learn some related skills in sales and marketing and audience research before getting back into radio some years ago as a program director, host, and producer. Despite what a few naysayers on the Seattle board keep posting, there are some of us who actually have some experience, and successes, in making radio that people listened to and relied on, even tho' we don't work in the ever-limited commercial radio world today.
