So, I'm driving in Millington this afternoon in a freakin' monsoon. I look at the radar on my Blackberry and it looks like a mad Picasso painting...just then the EAS on a local ham repeater goes off with flash flood warnings for three counties, including Shelby.
Between the static crashes, I hear on 600 Mark Walden from ABC24 tell me there is a slight chance of showers and maybe a stray thunderstorm this afternoon.
Doesn't anyone at the station have authority to pull the danged recorded forecast when it becomes clear they've completely blown it?
