1. The studios will be renamed "The Casey Coleman Studios." They must be referred to as the Casey Coleman Studios by all talent, i.e.: "Bob Frantz here in the Casey Coleman Studios, coming at you live..."

On a similar note, the Channel 5 studios must now be referred to as "The Nev Chandler Studios."

2. Bill Wills will be fired and replaced by legendary Browns linebacker Bill Willis.

3. Triv will be forbidden from talking about anything but sports. That bimbo in his studio will be fired and blackballed. Clear Channel wonders why they're losing money when they have to pay an idiot bimbo to remind Triv who his sponsor is.

4. A giant banner reading "Your Primary Responsibility Is To Inform The Listener, Entertaining The Listener Is Secondary" will be hung in the studios.
 
cow--the only thing in your scenario that MIGHT happen would be to name the studios in Casey's honor. wtam has the creds because they DO INFORM the listener before they entertain the listener. wills earned his news stripes as news editor at 700 with bill tonis and jim scott.
 
I'm just glad that a certain poster that has been terrorizing the Listening Party board has been banned here. He would have a time with this topic.

That's the reason why Alison took over for Kim Mihalik... less to no opinions, just read the sponsors, and get paid a paltry sum (as opposed to what Kim made.)

Wow. Nothing like reading ignorance. In this case, ignorance coming from ilk like you. It's amazing to see how many people are quick to call Allison harsh names like "idiot bimbo". Just because YOU don't like her or agree with what she has to say or contribute doesn't give you the right to call such harsh names or mean that she is an idiot or a bimbo. Perhaps you should provide a link to your Hall-Of-Fame product (yeah, I'll even take into consideration you're using "Mr. Microphone"). I'll be the first to rip it to shreds.

Also, do you have solid proof that they are:
1) losing money
2) losing money BECAUSE of Allison.


Please provide evidence of BOTH. I can't wait to hear THIS.

In addition, there's a reason why Allison reads the sponsorships -- so Triv doesn't go on and on and on and on and turn a :05 sponsorship into a :30-plus second one. I would expect a radio person to grasp this. It's not new. Oh wait a minute...I gave you the benefit of the doubt of having radio knowledge. My bad.

Who says that they are not doing that? Who says you can't do both? Please provide evidence they have put entertainment above information when important information was warranted?

Etc, etc. Whatever. That's why I don't go to the Cleveland board anymore. PowerCow at least tried to put a cohesive argument (if not a parody) together.

The argument about Alison does have merit, but she ought not be blackballed. I WOULD try to put the hurt on whoever thought of putting her on the air. For one, I'm her age, and I'm awfully jealous of these interns run amok at Oaktree and at 9446 Broadview... :-[ (Please note: I'm not THAT serious... ;))

5. On overnights, "Coast to Coast AM" will be run from 9PM to 6AM on nights with no Cavs or Indians, with the 9-11PM slot being the "best of" that runs on the satellite during that period.

6. On non-Cavs/Tribe nights, the 6-9PM slot will be filled with a moderate syndie talker like "Your Hero, Mark Bureau" or Tom Leykis, NO EXTREME CONSERVATIVES!

7. Jim Donovan will be terminated as radio play-by-play announcer for the Browns and replaced with an over-the-top homer announcer, preferably Mick "OH MY" Hubert of the Florida Gators Radio Network or the guy who does the Alabama Crimson Tide games.

8. Whenever Bob Frantz goes off on how "we need to save Christmas," his call screener will be instructed to only allow on people wanting to wish Bob "Happy Holidays."
 
9. The "Trivisonno Flashback" where he makes fun of The Fabulous Sports Babe will be deleted from the Prophet system due to the fact that the Babe has been off the air for five years now and is still in a serious battle with breast cancer.
