That's just one consideration. What happens to the show after about a month or three--when the novelty begins to wear off, for both Dave and the listeners? When he doesn't have the fire burn as bright? What if he gets a slow day and not many calls? Can he handle it on his own? And will his supporting cast turn into a "zoo" in the negative sense of the word?
Howard's show is nonsense, but relatively scripted nonsense. Z100's morning zoo was organized nonsense. When my fraternity buddies would rudely interrupt my show in college--it was unorganized and unscripted (and thankfully, after 10pm) nonsense.
