Actually, I was only commenting on the EbNo readings as being normal.
You mention that the satellite feed is also cutting out. Are you seeing the alarm lights come on or drops in your receive strength or only hearing audio drop outs? The first two could be a problem with the LNB or alignment. All three could result from a failing power supply in the StarGuide, and the latter could be a bad audio card in the StarGuide.
If you haven't done so already, make up a test cable consisting of a DB-9 connector and some alligator clips. Then disconnect everything from that receiver except for the power and dish connection. Test the audio coming out of the card with the cable and a pair of headphones or battery powered amp, to ensure you don't have a ground loop or problem downstream from the StarGuide. If the audio still has faults, the problem resides in the StarGuide. If it's clean, you need to look at what's between the StarGuide and your equipment. <P ID="signature">______________
