Hy Lit coming back to terrestrial radio!

I am in West Virginia and very content to have Hylitradio.com and even an occasional E-Mail with Hyski.

Why do some people insist on "peeing in somebody's Wheaties?"

The peeing in the Wheaties part is that Philly radio stations should be falling over themselves to hire a living legend. Instead, his big news is that he'll be on two 1kw AM stations in Bridgeton and Millville of all places. (please note, my posts are in no way intented to bash Hy!) But I guess if you can't be hip and happenin' just like the exciting, cutting edge, highly in-demand, new Philly 106.1 (woohoo!!!) then you can't make it in radio anymore.

While I was heading over to the Bridgeton studio to do some production work for Quinn Broadcasting I was told by the station manager to pass this bit of information along to the fair readers on the whole Hy Lit thing...

Tune in to WSNJ (be it at 1240 or 1440 AM or wsnjam.com), tomorrow (Thursday 9/28) at 5:05 p.m. for an update on the pending arrival of Hy Lit to WSNJ/WMVB. The clock is ticking and the countdown is on.

Could we be getting our first listen to his return to radio already?

As I've made mention way too much of, already, I'm the newb at 'SNJ, so obviously "they" won't tell me anything. Hell, Greg "Watch Me Do Car Commercials All Day Saturday" Hennis threatened to can me for even mentioning Hy on my show. Either can me or stick me in the back of one of the trunks of one of the cars he tries to sell, either/or.

If you weren't listening this evening, WSNJ offered a prequel of sorts to Hy Lit's return to terrestrial radio. Lots of Hy's favorite songs were played as well as some promos for Hy's pending debut on WSNJ. The anticipation is building and the time is drawing ever closer!

Personally, I cannot begin to thank everyone from Greg Hennis and Jim Quinn to the folks at HyLitRadio.com enough for getting together and making a little radio history happen at little old WSNJ!

Jim, hearing Hy's theme song "A Night With Daddy G" really gave me goosebumps.... and Lee Andrews was really unexpected! That was indeed cool.
Good luck to you guys from a Jersey Boy (New Brunswick) living in Orange County California 8)

I'm sure that luck shall be noted by Hy's crew and all parties concerned! The OC, eh? I certainly hope life is treating you well out there on the left coast!

I Am in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA once or twice a Year and she and my brother in-law listen all the time to WSNJAM.COM AND HYLITRADIO.COM. We both grew up listening to HY and think the world of him. Glad You Enjoyed the Hy LIT Promo PREVIEW Show

I live in south Orange County in Mission Viejo just a few miles on the eastside of the 5 freeway from Laguna Niguel (on the westside of the 5). Been out here for 21+ years now, but I get back east every couple of years to visit family. I have a sister who lived in West Philadelphia and now lives in Upper Darby. Yeh I always liked WIBG '62-'67 much better than WABC. In fact I only liked WABC from the fall of 1960 to around 1962. Then in early '62 Hyski came back to WIBG which I listened to on FM a lot after sunset those days. Memories... :)

Today is the Day !!!! HY LIT will begin to play at WSNJ and won't have to PAY. Get ready for a ROCKET RIDE That's will BLAST off in a matter of hour's !!!!!!!!!!!!

Please forgive me if this question has been addressed already...but will Mr. Lit's program on WSNJ available to listen to online? Hylit.com perhaps? Thanks.

Yes, Hyski's program will be heard on wsnjam.com in addition to on 1240 and 1440 on the AM side.

Dedicated Hy Lit/HyLitRadio subscription programming components ordered by the subscribing stations can be heard exclusively on the subscribing station’s terrestrial signal or by tuning in to that particular station’ internet stream feeds. In this particular referred instance, tune to WSNJAM.com for Hy Lit/HyLitRadio programming times. Additionally, there will be daily/selected hours where stations will simulcast with HyLit.com network main channel, in which case these durational programming time frames can be heard simultaneously on HyLitRadio.com. In this particular referred instance 1240/WSNJ & 1440/WMVB will carry HyLitRadio.com simulcast from midnight till dawn daily, EST.

Is Hy going to the WSNJ Studios to broadcast live or will this be some form of Voice Tracking or Remote Operation such as what Charlie Bennett and Jim Nettleton did on WARX in Hagerstown,Maryland a few years ago?

The Arrival of HY LIT ON WSNJ 1240AM,WMVB 1440 AM AND WSNJAM.COM ON Monday October 2 is an overwelming Succees !!!!!!
It's the talk of Cumberland County and Surrounding Area's That can pick up the Stations.
