I have a bad feeling about Pulse 87

Yikes. It seems like my prediction may be EXACTLY right, down to the day. What are the chances of that happening?
From Inside Radio

New York's "Pulse 87" faces new threat.

Mega Media Group's dance-formatted WNYZ-LP (87.7) made headlines last month when it launched a public radio-style fundraiser asking listeners for cash. But now WNYZ’s owners say they're no longer convinced Mega will be able to pay the thousands owed and have decided to sell.

I feel horrible for the die-hard fans that love the station they'll donate in hopes to keep the station alive & will lose the station in a couple of months anyways while mega media's CEO will be basking in the sun with all the money P1's have donated & employees are out of work.

For the record, the donated money was refunded.

Tony Santiago and Nick:

Pulse should have kept the donations in order to pay off debt. I remember saying that before.

If Pulse can surpass the August 31, 2009 deadline, it's another blessing. I believe the fans and the workers of Pulse have alot of work to do to make the station profitable again.

I am doing my job by getting the word out that Pulse is selling ad spaces both over the air and on their page.

Let's see what happens.

The situation, from what I hear, is SO far gone it may just be too little too late. And you can't ask the fans to do this again, especially after the monies from the beg-a-thon were refunded....and it must have been a legal issue why they couldn't keep the donations they've received.
