Fight over the six dollars in rhythmic CHR revenue in ABQ? When Wild was blown up they weren't even in the Top 10 in billing. Gannon was the GSM of Magic. Talk is, Magic is billing more in the post gannon era ( and with Arbotron numbers that are way off in the past year). Best bet, Gannon is going AC. And he would be smart to do it. KPEK is dancin with a 3 share. KKOB-FM had moved younger/teen. Sunny is still a non-event. There is a massive AC hole.

Do you wait till 1/1? Or do you go the moment KMGA goes all Christmas and leaves themselves vulnerable for 5+ weeks. If you wait, you let Greater Media get a hold of 107.9. Look at Greater Media's AC stations. They win. Ask Sherwood. Hmmmm.

I agree!!! When Magic Goes All Xmas here comes FRESH 97.7!!! With KABG 98.5 playing more 70's they will go after Magic from the Younger end with Fresh & Older end with 98.5

That would be a mistake in my opinion but hey what do I know so far they have swung and missed with Talk , Smooth Jazz , The Range
 
It's going to be interesting no matter what they do, word in the building is "it's" happening this week.


CHR/Rhy WILL most definitely pull the numbers (ex: KYLZ/KCHQ), question is can AGM sell it? And if they take it CHR/Top 40 will they focus 12-24 like KKSS with more Rhythmic titles like most Top 40's or go after or make an attempt to mirror KKOB-FM and lean Rock/Hot AC? ???
 
I will now side with the CHR crowd as those rumblings I am hearing are getting louder.
If anything they will do it to get at Univision for knocking off Radio Lobo
 
Last night i heard that AMG sales people are telling clients it's going to be a Hot AC type format! So who knows what they are going to do!
