I miss Imus!

McGuirk on H & C was actually a good bit. He did the Cardinal Eagan bit and brought up good points such as how they insulted Imus & McGuirk as much as anybody else. Another good point is that he said that he had just signed a new contract with a healthy raise to keep right on doing what they had been doing all these years. So it seems that CBS is contradicting themselves by rewarding Imus, McGuirk & company for making them all this money all these years and for encouraging them to keep right on doing what they had been sucessful for them all this time. The minute Sharpton turned up the heat, CBS cowered, what a bunch of phonies. Did anybody notice how Bernie caught himself when he said that he hopes that Sharpton's hairdrier falls into the bathtub while it is plugged in? Sean and Allan congratulated him on catching himself before he got himself in more trouble and commented that he has learned a lesson from his mistakes! Good segment ::)

Even Hannity is saying that Imus got screwed and as he says he is no fan of Imus and does not like him or defend what he says (his show originates from WABC in New York so he is a fan of Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby) but agrees that we can't just draw boundaries for what we can and can't say on the air as we go along. I guess CBS would not have the guts to say they make a mistake and reconsider and bring Imus back and stick to their original plan and just consider this a suspension. Funny how the people that were hurt by this the most (the girls from Rutgers) are the only ones cutting Imus some slack and are the only ones forgiving him..........................

I hope the firing of Imus backfires in the Clinton campaign. I hope she gets her you know what handed to her.

He disliked her, and for justified reasons, she is a cameleon, he made no bones about it.

Also, I do not care for Glen Beck, he says the same thing over and over again, we get the point first time around.

I would like to see Barnicle remain on, but, he has to be careful, as his wife is a high up in the Bank of America brood. He has to walk a fine line, if you get my drift. But, he has the same interesting persons on that Imus had on.
