George has the insight and the background. Along with his friend and co-writer of books, Pat Reeder, the two of them could give DFW a definitive station of success. The drawback,George ( like most of us) has no love for the way Corporations have controlled stations. George's ideas wouldn't balance with the so called "Corporate research". His ideas like most good PD's and on air talent, would get watered down and it would come out as the same old quagmire its currently in.Then the arguments here and elsewhere would suggest George doesn't have it anymore, which is pure crap. There are many "Georges" out there, out of radio voluntarily,or involuntarily who could make an impact in the market. The corps know this, but they are not willing to pay,as long as they can sell spots, and increase that load, what does it matter to them?
