I am a big listener of 80s on 8. I am wondering if they are paying as much attention under the new PD. This past Sunday I heard Guns-n-Roses followed by Madonna. It seems some of the music that has creeped into the playlist is something that would normally be found on a rock station.
As a XM subscriber for several years, I was glad to see NPR put on (134). Also, check out Channel 29, BBC Radio 1. It rocks!!! The lady announcer is great. I've always loved that sexy british accent. Hate to see Chrome Channel 83 go, but you have to take the good with the bad. I'll continue to subscribe.
Sadly I dropped my subscription today. I suppose the channels I liked most weren't the most popular but it now sounds like XMU and Fred (a.k.a 1st Wave a.k.a. all generic U2 hits all the time) are being programmed by Crap Channel or some other such radio butchers. Not worth the price of admission anymore. It was fun while it lasted and those channels were great at any price.
