Ice Dragon for morning show gig at Gator???

i would hope that you are kidding because anybody that would hire somebody that looks like that would have to be the dumbest person known to man. there is no way that a guy like that would fit in with a country station like gator.
 
Wow...you are such a kind person! Have you ever seen some of the people that work in radio? I'm sure some of them look worse than the Ice Dragon. You have to keep in mind that radio was invented so "eye sores" can become famous! Why lower the Ice Dragons chances of landing a gig in something that he loves to do just because he looks like he stepped off the set of Deliverance?

I say...forget looks and worry about what he can bring to the station!!

You know the Ice Dragon? I'm telling you...he would be the perfect fit for that station! He does come with a huge pricetag but if Gator wants to win, they will go with their gut and hire this guy. He show is kinda like that guy that beat his girlfriend...Russ Martin and his audience is bigger than the Batman fanbase.

He is the real deal!! I'm glad somebody agrees with me!

I would have pictured "ICE DRAGON" as more of an American Gladiator-type specimen hissing fire and flexing pythons, not a dude in a woodpaneled kitchen wearing a Blackawks jersey at 3 in the morning gettin' ready for high school. Is "ice" a code name for "meth?"

And Blackhawks???? Didju say Blackhawks??? Isn't that hockey (not really a southern sport should have had a Pee Dee Pride throwback jersey or something, at least).

Actually, the Ice Dragon is more of the "nerdy" dragon when it comes to looks...kinda like the Napoleon Dynamite of dragons! But don't let those "nerdy" looks fool you...the Ice Dragon has many skills. Far more than hissing fire and flexing pythons!!

As for the woodpaneled kitchen and the Blackhawks Jersey...I can't speak for that...thats just too damn funny!

The fact of the matter is the Ice Dragon is going to take the STRAND by storm and bring his skills (woodpaneled kitchens and the blackhawks) with him!!

WOW!!!!! I am really honored that you think that I am the almighty Ice Dragon but sorry to inform you that I am not. Just to have my name mentioned with the Ice Dragons is a blessing, but to be refered as the Ice Dragon is HUGE!!

If I had to guess...I would say he smokes Winstons or Jacks but I'm not 100% and the jeans might make a comeback...you never know.

Here is the bottom line, despite his crazy hair, goofy stature, ugly kitchen, wine coolers, and crappy hockey jerseys...the fact of the matter is that the Ice Dragon is up for the job at Gator doing mornings and a talent like himself should be respected for his talents and skills!

i am pretty sure that the next person that gator hires will be there longer than 2 weeks. i do believe from what i have read and the knowledge that already have, they weren't expecting a 2 week tenure with roper but maybe, they were who knows. i wonder when they are gonna name somebody?

You have no idea what you are talking about!!  First off all, Russ IS the Ice Dragons name and I'm amazed that even speak his name without permission from the Ice Dragon himself.  Shame on you!

As for the so called "80's" picture, it was taken last week in the Ice Dragons kitchen and YES...he is well aware that his picture is on here...so quit trying to start something and go d-walking!!

Another question...how could he be a board-op?  He is a morning show host...you must be speaking of another Russ.

Fine this ice dragon maybe great but the old picture is worth a thousand words? Really? Nah. If he is really that good there must be a recording of him somewhere, post it. Also this guy would have to have another picture somewhere, I don't take many pictures of myself but the one I put on my website wasn't just some loose picture someone took. If this guy is really good somone had to take a better picture of him.
 
If he was any good, they would make him board-op AND host at the same time, while posing for pictures and making coffee and selling ads on the phone and doing web stuff and posting on radio forums to drive traffic and build the buzz.

Plus, people would probably have heard of him before yesterday. ;D
