Would it at lease get to Vacaville before it fades out?Speaking of KOSF. Would the coverage be better when they were at Sutro Tower with a grandfather coverage of 7.2kw/461M vs 6.4kw/403M at San Bruno Mtn?

I'm not an engineer, nor am I in the San Francisco market, but I've been told in the past that the Sutro Tower has some issues getting a reliable signal into San Jose. The reception is better downtown, but not as strong in some of the areas that are shadowed by terrain. As for your question about Vacaville, I would be curious to hear a definitive answer as well. In general, it sounds like there are some good advantages to the Sutro site, as long as you're not grandfathered in with a strong power level. I think David also mentioned one time about how there is a radius around the Sutro site where the beam tilt doesn't allow for very strong reception. It seems like there just aren't enough advantages for KOSF to justify a move (this is also considering that I don't know that the tower real estate looks like for Sutro).Anyone?
What do you think about 80's+'s use of KIIS 2007 Mainstream by Reelworld? Does it fit, or nah?
I agree! They state on their social media accounts that they’ve added many more songs from the 1980’s as well, and I believe them. I’ve been listening to them every day now haven’t gotten tired of it.I agree that KOSF sounds quite good these days.
The long overdue refresh has definitely improved the station.

If you ever decide to digitize those, please do share! I’d love to hear those.I have the last 11 days of KSFX On tape just before they changed to KGO-FM. And the beginning of KLOK-FM When KGO-FM Signed off.
They're already digitized and available from the estate of the guy who recorded them in the first place, the late Mike Schweizer. They've been at archive.org for almost five years:If you ever decide to digitize those, please do share! I’d love to hear those.
