>>Jordan Levy on WTAG in Worcester is not getting any younger.
Someone on a political messageboard, who lives between Springfield and Hartford, says he regularly listens to Howie on WHYN 560 Holyoke but "someone else was on yesterday and they kept announcing the station as WTAG".
I said iHeart was known to screw up automation etc so it could have been that (he may have been getting Levy)...but then again
he may have had an analog display radio and
simply tuned in 580 WTAG by mistake.
"Not sure how well 580 comes into your
area..." I added. Hmm.
Re Steve Robinson--I prefer Taylor Cormier's
voice to Steve's, myself.Taylor does impersonations too. Robinson went to Minihane's podcast IIRC.
Steve filled in for Howie on occasion before they
parted ways.
Howie's producing and ownership of Grace's show may do better than the short lived Curt Schilling Show he tried. It was much ballyhooed but didn't last long.Online only I believe (RKO didn't pick
it up, I believe and WFEA Manchester was due to air it but never did.)
Jared Goodell used to work for WFEA then joined
Howie's show.Jared sued Howie at one point.
I didn't hear how that turned out but my guess is
Jared was unsuccessful.
Fall 2016--Curt Schilling Show, briefly ran
Fall 2018--Goodell lawsuit
More recently Goodell tried to run a furniture store
in Keene but it closed.
Prov Journal:
"The only problem with Schilling's "radio" career is that it will start on the Internet, not the airwaves, according to Jared Goodell, operations manager of the Howie Carr show. Schilling's initial broadcast can be found online at the CurtSchillingShow.com while Carr's operation works to sign contracts with the stations that carry Carr's show to carry Schilling's, too."
