Especially when the kids and parents didn't listen. That's a problem in itself, don't you think?I don't think Radio Disney's failure had anything to do with its network model. If I were to guess, children's radio in general isn't a profitable business model.
Because as BigA already explained to you; sales are local and vary in scope depending on the market and demographic spread.I don't see why that model couldn't be adopted with a tried and true radio format though.
That's why the music may be similar between Cincinnati and Seattle, but there are differences in presentation and talent. Not to mention talking about announcing local events, traffic, and weather, relating to the local audience.
