In all these imaging packages, and imaging I hear on commercials. Everybody uses the same effects on their voice? What kind of effects are they? Like you hear on WBBMFM Chicago

Why is that? Use of tape echo or flanging was about the limit of any production effects I ever heard in those days. Most production I recall from that era was read-script-over-bed, maybe throw in a couple sound effects.
Keep in mind that outside of the major markets the production studio back then was basically a little closet with a mic, a 4-pot mixer, a reel-to reel deck, a cart machine & a turntable. Probably mono.

A Keygen is something that generates a serial number for you to be able to use "pirated software".Jeff Laurence said:I've not used a keygen..or "serial box" as one is called..How do they work? I bought the WAVES Gold bundle..jeesh it was expensive, but I have used it a lot..so I guess i got my moneys worth out of it..Still if these companies would make these at least a little less steep they might sell a lot more of them.
I still like the Yamaha SPX series outboard boxes..and for pro-tools the Sony Oxford plugs are great..but again..pricey.
