In case anyone's wondering what Jay has to say on the air about this today...we won't know. Graham is on.

A spat with Imus ought to be worth at least a week off!

Can't help but point out that Jay likes to say that when he appears in public he is packing heat and wouldn't hesitate to use it if someone threatened him. For instance, he wouldn't have waited to see if the Iraqi shoe thrower was only throwing shoes and would have shot him right away.

So I have to ask, why so passive when someone (Imus) threatens to shoot him?

A comment on SaveWRKO said Jay was prob upset that they made fun of him, calling him a moron or implying he was gay--typical behavior but too much for Jay's ego (add to that the embarrassment of the JS syndie show ending...Jay said it was his decision to come back to Bos. & do aft drive after 9 months. Sure.) Jay blabs to papers, Imus upset, orders him not to show up but he does. Jay claims he left apologetic note at I-man's hotel before broadcast...etc It's comedy gold. Then I-man says he was just joking, and Jay's people point out he is doing well in pm drive (3rd; Imus 9th in am drive, no doubt several places ahead of Felon In The Morning)

Yeah I think Imus was joking ,months ago. Since Jay started talking, no it's not a joke.
Neither is he joking about Jon Meacham, Cramer, VP Biden who are all on his current S-list.

My five year old grandchild could write a more intelligible comment than Bostonradioguy. I really think proof of at least an eighth grade education should be required to post on this board.
