Well, 105.3 is usually strengthened in Nassau when there's tropo, so it balances out.magicjellybeans said:d21ofnj said:you know, with all these posts about pulse 87 going off the air and not gonna last any longer, watch these posts backfire and Pulse will stay on the air for a good while. Look at Party 105. That station had some detours with Channelasting, flipped formats, and a threat of being bought out to business talk radio, and now they are simulcasting on 101.5 in Nassau. Plain and simple, Pulse is not going anywhere for a while.
Oh cool it IS on 101.5 ?I thought my radio was broken.
In fact, it manages to come in at some locations where the pirate station's signal is nullified, or at times when it's off the air. I've been able to consistently get a weak but somewhat listenable signal of Party on 101.5 along Main Street near the Grand Central Parkway and the LIE in Queens. It's also possible to hear it along the Cross Island Parkway, fighting with the pirate on 101.5.
