KLU was up triple H too. Jack is OFF.

What about Pigeon? Have the ratings started to come around on him yet? You have to give a break to him on the first book, but by now we should start to see whether or not he can make a difference there.

being up is always better than being down, if they're selling numbers, it has to help if anything can in this economy.

bigtime said:Creative and interesting is nice, but if it doesn't make money it won't be around long.
cspotrun said:Boring, stale, cookie-cutters don't make money either, and don't last - which is where klu is right now. I'm not advocating some small niche format - but good programming will attract listeners and advertising.
Because it hasn't been done you think it CAN'T be done?
i guess we're ALL waiting for YOU to reveal what this "Good Programming" is- so, please tell us what it is in detail so all of us can get to work building the hottest thing since Top-40.......... T H E "Radio-HO" format.

No tutoring needed. i've been in radio 39 years as a PD/air personality from New York to Texas and throughout the midwest... i don't know it all but it seems that you DO know at least something, that i agree with when it comes to "Personality Radio". and some of us "Experienced" vets (who know what it is and sounds like) could teach those who wouldn't know it from listening to radio today.
Does that mean those who can... ran? ???Dingy Harry said:Those who can't...rant.

So with all these years of 'experience' - and no insulting intended - are you suggesting that radio in it's current state locally cannot be improved by innovative people? And are you suggesting status quo should be accepted and not questioned? And NO ONE would EVER have the answer to improving the entire package we're hearing? You've worked outside Indy, and you think what is here and what has been done with the 'independent' station is as good as it gets?
I'm not suggesting some small niche format - I'm suggesting doing what is being done better. Or do we just accept what's there and say 'if you don't agree you are jealous or an arrogant trouble-maker?'
Don't we at least see SOME common ground here cspotrun?
