What do you mean younger people wont take to talk programming? Almost every morning show on any FM in any city is what I would call talk, even hot talk. When was the last time you heard much music on an FM in morning drive? Ingraham appears to have become a difficult talent at best to deal with. She tried to muscle Salem and others, including her syndicator and lost. Her programming is also sounding a lot like the "other" Dr. Laura with her preaching and nagging. It is no longer fresh. She has blown her opportunity, in my opinion. Even Fox news channel doesnt want her much.

Unless they just changed the schedule, Ingraham's show is not live on WABC. They air it tape-delayed from 10 pm - 1 am. Even still, it's the largest feather in her radio cap. As for WPHT, I don't see them pitching Glenn Beck for Ingraham. That would be a big mistake (as was foolishly done in LA).
In tracking her announced clearance (not live yet) on WEOL/930 around here, I spotted THIS interesting item on Ms. Ingraham's "new stations" list...just up today.

Yes, Ingraham will clear beginning Monday on KVI. "The Commentators"--a left/right debate show moves to KVI's sister KOMO, which lately has been all-news, but will now air talk middays, when demand for all-news tends to level off.
Yet even "News/talk" could attract a broader audience than it does, just by diversifying the presentation a bit. It's hard to imagine the format being any LESS diverse than it currently is - Rush and his ten-thousand clones... ;D

I touch on this - WEOL and Ms. Ingraham - in my most recent update (thanks, Nathan!).
I don't have any indication that Ingraham will actually air 6-8 PM. For one, all but the first half-hour of her show will be preempted by the Indians through Thursday, and the entire show will be preempted by HSFB and pre-game on Friday.
My guess, put up on the item this evening, is that she'll move to 5-7 PM after the Indians end their season, and they'll put hour 3 of Hannity on at 7 PM. There will still be preemptions, but at least the daily Tribe action will be history after this week.

Well like Biz Listener doesn't get that Stephanie Miller beats Laura Ingraham in some key markets. For Example LA in California and a Midwestern market Columbus Ohio. He doesn't get that one Talk Radio is an niche market. Two people are tired of conservative talk radio. Just look at Salem Radio.
As a person who "works" at a radio station instead of an outsider, WCRS LPFM does niche programming to cover programs that WCBE and WOSU FM/AM doesn't air, or too scared to air. (True WCRS is low power but they do have terrestrial broadcast tower and a translator.)
Then again Biz thinks if its not broadcasting top forty music or conservative talk is a waste of signal. Then this is why he doesn't get it that terrestrial radio is failing due to uninspiring radio formats. This is why Satellite Radio is making inroads. Plus the local Progressive Talk Station in Columbus Ohio WVKO AM have more live local talk during the weekends than CC owned WTVN AM, WYTS AM (WYTS AM airs Laura Ingraham and broadcast at ONE KW of power, while WVKO AM BROADCAST AT 3200 WATTS DAYTIME.) put together.

We haven't confirmed it yet, so we aren't putting it out there YET...but it looks like the evening time slot on WEOL/930 may not be the final landing spot for Ms. Ingraham.
