Internet Radio in Houston

Well, better add my nickle here . GPN - Gospel Praise Network is also based in Houston, TX. its not a commercial station but it is listenere supported. Having been in terrestial radio for the past 35 years I decided to establish my very own station with the graciousness of God. GPN has been on the internet for some 21 years now playing gospel music from 1950 - today in Traditional, Spiritual, Acceppella, Classic Gospel, Contemporary, Praise and Worship, Youth, Urban, and Gospel Jazz. GPN is on the air 24/7/365 (366 when leap year exist). go to http://www.miracleworksradionetwork.org/index.htm GPN isn't like Radio One who has a CHR for gospel (playing a set number of songs over and over and over again) GPN has over 10k songs and growing and we feature and support and play indie gospel artist. to find out how go to the website and read the music policy for GPN.

GPN makes itself available to the public via yahoo simply add gpnradio to your contact list or install the new myspaceIM then go to http://www.myspace.com/gospel_praise_network and request to be added as a friend (please be aware that we don't give everyone access to gpn radio. (if there are pictures or coments that are not "kid friendly (and you know what I mean) then I will not grant access to GPN because it sends mixed messages about what a christian should be doing and and what the secular world does. so tune into GPN - Gospel Praise Network and "Get Your Praise On"

Listen to your station often and it is great. Some of the music is a little before me, but it has opened up another world of music. The station is run beautifully. Best of luck!

If you haven't listened to any of the internet stations mentioned in this thread you are missing some fantastic programming. I check this thread every so often to see if any other stations have been added from the Houston area. All of these stations beat what is on the AM/FM dial.
