Whether or not this will help dance, I don't know, because on facebook I saw someone from either KMVQ or KYLD talking about how Black Eyed Peas "fell off" and another radio person on twitter saying anyone who likes that song is "#rainbow".

Of course, I like the song overall by default because it's another excuse for chr and rhythmic formats to HAVE to play, yet again, another uptempo hit.

Well I guess I'm officially #rainbow because the song definitely grew on me. I never doubted it would make it - and always had a feeling it would mostly because MORE THAN ONE station in Atlanta added it to regular rotation (which makes that song 100% more played in regular rotation than Chris Brown's "yeah 3x" in Atl.!) - and if it's getting played there, then it MUST BE A HIT, with a capital "M,U,S,T,.. B,E, and A, and H, I, T, - THE WHOLE THING GETS CAPITALIZED HERE!

Anyway, so yep, there you have it. Since I am officially #rainbow now, then that should only help me to pick up chicks even more! Yes!! Look how convenient this entire situation has become for me after all in the end! I'm surely going to have the time of my life now.

By the way, I think it's about time a dance station was tried in Atl. 3 college stations going to waste as of right now... It'd be nice if they went the Seattle & Delaware route...

I meant more of a dance friendly chr (rather than really becoming 100% like The Vibe - which was mostly wishful thinking).

Even that's better than nothing. Maybe they'll get rid of this thing where they were trying to be both Hot and Rhythmic AC, and pick ONE. The fact that they willingly added Stereo Love before even KZZP shows that they were somewhat willing to give attention to dance - if they can, so if this is a rebrand, this will be interesting, especially if they come back as a full blown chr that leans more pop rock, like WWWQ.
 
dance music in the usa ... think you need good team to get the station up and hear out there ... all down to the cash you have to spend ... and need good manager as in pulse NYC market and had good listership but the Ad let them down

Work as a DJ in FL back in 2000/1 and the pub and club was packed 4 nights aweek due the music i played
Chart from EU and dance . it went down a storm both places , packed , the Managent say the takens were up for the time i worked there ... but didnt play long remixes as some are Sh1te . I was work on radio in the area aswell and told by the station that music i played never work ... could some tell me why the tills where full at night and get payed lot money .. ok work from 10 pm until late at night ( i would played to 3000 heads) any clubs i used go two was hip hop and so on ... didnt see the tills hopping there
there live gigs ... would hold good crowded and ok tills
hip hop full of head but not drink (bad tills that night )
EU dance chart , 1 floor be hopping 2 tills full 3 main door would have Qs 4 no trouble 5 age group 21 - 35

ok not every one cup of tea but it work
ok was on the main street of the city
for 6 hour set i would have to do 15 hours on the net see what was been played in ireland uk germany spain and so on
 
Alright, as I heard about the news with Party 93.1 not going to HD1 in Miami, this comment came up on their facebook.


"I only wish you were broadcasting in las vegas, we had a dance station 94.5 The Vibe, since August 1st they turned into a top 40 station and has driven alot of there fan base away"

By looking at what The Vibe is playing, I don't see how this station is Top 40.
