Is Britney Spears fading from CHR radio?

I don't miss hearing Taylor Swift on CHR either. "Eyes Open" was horrid. :D

I agree, too early to say that Britney is "fading." If her next album flops and its singles do likewise, then we can say that she's "fading." But I think "Till The World Ends" will remain a CHR staple for a long time. "Hold It Against Me" turned out to be something of a non-hit, it seemed to me; it peaked early because it was a new Britney single and then dropped very quickly. However I still hear it on occasion.

Her pre-2003 music all sounds very dated now, but "Toxic" is fresh and sounds as good now as it did nearly a decade ago.

As far "If U Seek Amy" is concerned, that one needs to be handled with gloves and locked away in a vault for eternity. Bleccch. Still enjoy "Womanizer" and "Circus" though.
I hear "Toxic" played as a gold on rare occasion. It's definitely the oldest Britney song I ever hear on CHR anymore. Agree that her late 90s/early 00s material is dated and will probably go the way of many other pop and rhythmic/pop hits from those time periods. Nowhere to play them, and they probably don't test well anymore.

"I Wanna Go" was definitely the best from her latest album. TTWE was second best. I think that track says that Britney hasn't faded, yet. Lady Gaga didn't set the world on fire with her latest album, either. All I ever hear from that album anymore is "The Edge Of Glory."

Yeap "Edge of Glory" was the only good track on that album. "You and I" has somewhat tested well on a few Hot AC's. WMIA in Miami has put "Born This Way" back in rotation. It seems WMIA plays alot of stuff WHYI has burned off. Britney's "Womanizer is a good recurrent for CHR and should do well on Hot AC too.
