That looks a lot better than I heart's premium choice mainstream classic rock playlist. But on the other hand, it will not make the former Rock 101 listeners happy. At the time time, it will make the P1 Planet listeners change the station.
I guess the only thing it's got going for it is that it's the only "rock" station in town now. So if you're a terrestrial radio listener that likes rock, you either put up with it or turn your radio off. That looks a lot better than I heart's premium choice mainstream classic rock playlist. People have been saying 102.5 the Lake is classic rock.I guess the only thing it's got going for it is that it's the only "rock" station in town now. So if you're a terrestrial radio listener that likes rock,
I'm going to assume it's just that these are the same songs over and over. Looks like a good list to me.
It seems more rock oriented than the Charlotte Lake at 102.9, which is more variety hits. But there seems to be a gap for AC formats in the GSP and Charlotte markets and overlapping areas in between, with Magic gone and the Charlotte Mix apparently on the way out as well, since vacating 107.9. I guess both Lakes somewhat fill the gap, but not entirely.People have been saying 102.5 the Lake is classic rock.
Agreed. I know it’s not a strong signal, but AC has managed to get the 99.5 translator back at a 1 share or over after being on a year with no promotion, the best that signal has done since the Jack FM days. It’s actually the second highest rated translator after The Block which has an advantage of 3 signals. So I think the audience is there, but it doesn’t fit in any of the operators cluster strategy for a bigger signal in the market unfortunately. I like listening to Star when I’m in and around Greenville and sometimes stream them.I would like a strong AC signal to return in the place of the former Magic 98.9 and Mix 107.9. But perhaps this is not longer considered a viable format in this region.
Audacy is starting to take shots at competition when they don't even have enough effort above typing in a prompt into an AI photo generator and then posting it with a caption. Wow. Talk about poor execution.Audacy is starting to fire direct shots at WSSL and WESC, a type of radio war we haven’t seen in this market in quite some time. On Instagram, they tagged them directly.
Well, they have zero staff, if I'm not mistaken, on the air on Big Buck. 😂Audacy is starting to take shots at competition when they don't even have enough effort above typing in a prompt into an AI photo generator and then posting it with a caption. Wow. Talk about poor execution.
