Ever since May 7, 2007, Drive 105 has changed their format from modern rock to soft AC/oldies as Love 105. That meant the Minneapolis/St. Paul hasn't had a full time modern rock station in the market & the only major market besides Atlanta that hasn't had one. (That means you can't find a modern rock station on the HD2 dial there). Will an Indie 103 type of format to get Minneapolis back in the game, if it were to do so or how bout if the resurrect the Rev back from the dead? I doubt it will happen or not. I know Love 105's format has been doing better than Drive 105's format, so there's no format change anytime soon. I also doubt that 93.7 HD2 or some other Minneapolis move in could do just that. At least they'll play from everything from 80's new wave, 90's grunge, even the artists of today, & also that will play independent artists from Minneapolis, something that Cities 97 doesn't do. C'mon, Minneapolis supports local artists & I hope a format change could try to boost morale on that soon. Tell us what you think about that.
