It's CC so you would think. It's only one of two Top 10 BA affiliates left. Plus it's already on the bird. Concerned though that their website is dated. News from January 31. There's no reference to Ramsey Lewis doing their morning show. Is he? They promote his "Legends of Jazz" and interestingly they link you to his morning show via WNUA's website. I'd say KKSF is safe since they have no local staff to blow out. I agree with another poster that only if a hot hot format they can move in could replace this format on this station would they flip. The major defections haven't been CC stations, so if a major market CC station bows out at this time, the damage control angle by BA (see the latest R&R Online) will have to be on full throttle for a while. I don't see a "CC bird" going out because they wouldn't be doing the traditional staff blowout. My eyes are on Philly to go all BA and a non-CC market flipping, like Columbus OH, which needs something else to do with their station and there are competitive format holes in that town.
Maybe KKSF should flip to Country to compete with The Wolf and KRTY. Are you ready for
"103-7 The Bull?"
Just my two cents!
