Total side note: I've always thought it was weird that Alt. stations have no problem playing Metallica (even Y100 did), but all other 80's/90's metal is off limits. I mean, I understand that Metallica has a much bigger following than Megadeth, but it is weird that Metallica is a core artist on The X, while a request for Megadeth is taken as a joke.

Edit: Of course, we could say the same thing about Bob Marley on Alt. vs. any other Reggae artist.

Beastie boys are ok... They are rock/rap same goes with Hollywood undead!
 
I emailed wmmr about a month ago and told them how I felt bout stations who play bob marley well he said back to me they play this artist! I was surprised.

Y100 played Eminem. Atleast songs from his first album like hi my names is, and the real slim shady. Not sure if it continued with later albums.

Not much... although Alt. stations did get back on the bandwagon for "Lose Yourself". That one even got a few spins on YSP.
