Does anyone know of any kinds of "dumb" plugin ISDN loopback devices?
What I'm hoping for is some kind of relatively inexpensive gadget that I can plug into our ISDN lines at various remote locations. Something that will perform an auto-answer-loopback-reset-wait function so the line can be called and tested for functionality on a regular basis. Something like a plain old Adtran terminal adapter with a loopback adapter plugged into its v34 port - assuming some such arrangement would work.
(tired of suddenly discovering critical ISDN circuits are dead just when we need them most)
(and yes I could do such a thing with a Zephyr, but we don't have enough to go around)
Thanks.
