It's Here. KTWL-FM Hempstead/The Woodlands

Re: oh, btw....The Woodlands Radio

I was able to get it to work.
I hadn't noticed the two listen live links at the top and had ben using the one on the side.
I had to click on the dialup link which is weird because I'm listening from work.
Oh well.
I kind of like it so far.

Sounds like you need a Guiness! (Brilliant!) That way you dont need to listen to the station ;)

Weaver Morror host the morning show and Dan Gallo after that.

If this has been mentioned please disregard.

Re: oh, btw....The Woodlands Radio

I can listen online now - they must have been working on the streaming. The questions I have are:

1) Why would Roy Henderson put a station like this on the air?
2) Why is someone with Weaver Morrow's stature working at this station?
3) What's all the fuss about? Nothing really noteworthy on this station - I think the Jack, Bob, Fred crap is wearing out its welcome.
4) Can anyone in the Woodlands actually hear the broadcast of this station?

Because he can...and he thinks he can make money from the status of being a "THE Woodlands" station

Could be he needs the money...may be living in THE Woodlands and thought it may work...Weaver is NOT an engineer, btw so he probably didnt know 105.3 doesnt cover THE Woodlands.

I disagree...try listening to www.jackontheweb.com (Dallas' JACK) or www.red937.com (Red in Baton Rouge)...I love both of them.

If you stand outside with a foot in a bucket of saltwater to help reception and hold the radio HI over your head, you might hear it on a Walkman...car receiver hears it but not in stereo well...home rcvrs will need a decent outside antenna (but THE Woodlands prohibit outside antennas...luckily the FCC has a law that overrides that ;)

I do need a Guiness... and at 5:00 this afternoon, I will be drinking one!

But the "Brilliant!" comes more from dealing with the Brits this week. I even caught myself saying "Cheers!" when I hung up the phone yesterday... <P ID="signature">______________
