Evidently, Catsimatides is still doing his show on am970, which the station is promoting.
One has to look at this from the standpoint of New York City & State politics.
The character who recently bought that facility has long been angling to enhance his position within the (near-moribund) State GOP.
Even with a tiny and dying audience, a 50K signal does that, to a degree.
Putting retreads like Bannon and Giuliani on does that as well.
Look, Mr. Supermarket is in his seventies, he has a new ego toy.
For WABC, this is just a delay before the preachers and then scrapper.

Maybe...if having an audience that's mainly over 60 is your goal. Shapiro has a younger fan base. The new owner is cutting costs with the web site. He apparently doesn't have a full time in-house web person.

And, judging from the depressing condition of his Gristedes grocery stores, I don’t envision him injecting a lot of money into revamping WABC. I think he sees the station as a billionaire’s hobby.
My point is that stations routinely ignore outdated station information on websites.
You need to be more specific. In the case of Cumulus, they had a specific person assigned to the website, and from what I understand, that person is paid based on the success of the site. AFAIK, he/she was not retained by Red Apple.
WABC dropped Westwood One’s Ben Shapiro from afternoon drive this week and added a rotating series of guest hosts in the 3-5pm slot and Steve Bannon’s syndicated “War Room: Pandemic” in the 5pm hour.
Today WABC featured Attorney Arthur Aidala in the 3pm hour and Bill O’Reilly, whose syndicated commentary was just picked up by WABC to air at 7:25 every morning, in the 4pm hour.
The radioinsight article also notes: "The station is describing the moves as special programming for this week for now."
There's a graphic in the article that shows the lineup and appears to be from WABC's website. The graphic is linked to https://www.wabcradio.com/ but when you click on it and go there the lineup is nowhere to be found.
Didn't I read somewhere that Cumulus is servicing WABC's website for several months after the sale closing? Both Cumulus and WABC use InterTech Media to provide web services.
"Under a transition agreement, Cumulus will continue to provide several services to WABC for a four-month period including handling such functions as payroll, billing, and website hosting for a monthly fee of $25,000."
This remark is in reply to The BigA and his comments about WABC not making money with weekend music:
How does WMID in Atlantic City make money ?
