I've got to get this off my chest

You want to know what else annoys me? Family Feud. Not the concept itself, but what has happened to it. I've seen the 70s version on GSN (between hours of poker tournaments) and it was so much better than it is today. The families were from grassroots America, the music was a whole lot better, the set was cool, and the host Richard Dawson was cool. Dawson was there from 1976-1985 and again briefly in 1994-95, and apparently he is still alive.

The version that debuted in 1999 is only a slight nod to the earlier versions. Nowadays the contestant families all seem to be from modelling agencies, the music is crap, and the set has too much of a techno look to it. Al Borland...er, Richard Karn isn't a terrible host - if there's one good thing they've done in the past ten years, it was replacing Louie Anderson with Karn. However I like Dawson better, and he should host it again. For heaven's sake, Dawson is younger than Bob Barker!

> I want Art Fleming back! At least Don Pardo.
the answer is art fleming gene rayburn and allen ludden are all this.

Question, WHAT IS DEAD?

It is sad, a lot of the good game show hosts have long since passed away.
As for Don Pardo, I just read where he has a lifetime contract with NBC.
So NBC needs to put game shows back on. That's better than the junk that's on nowadays anyway
