... and I just heard the first repeat. I heard "Runaway Train" this afternoon around 3-3:30 while driving around, and they're playing it right now (listening via stream) at 1:41am.
It's dissapointing to hear a repeat within the first 24 hours of a new format being online.
(update) and at 1:54, "Mr. Wendel" by Arrested Development just started playing - I heard it this afternoon too.
What's up with that? Do they only have a few songs they're repeating for a day or two?
apparently the "we play anything" applies to the commercial content as well. there is nothing more jarring than hearing a commercial for Toys R Us and a porn store within the same group of commercials.

Get used to that... most people think the Jack format has an infinitely large library... in reality it rotates about the same number of songs that a typical classic rock station does, they're just culled from multiple formats. So while it's positioned as being like a giant ipod on shuffle, it's really a 500-song ipod, not a 5000-song one.

... crummy rotation, just like everybody else, and NO JOCKS. Why would anyone listen to this? If I want a weird mix of music, with no personality, and no local, live content, I can put the CD's on shuffle.... What is it with these people. How can they not get it?
