Well, he may have worked at JACK in the Box. Those cute Jack paper hats may have caused major damage, huh? :-[

Jack in Indy, like elsewhere, is not real radio. It's a jukebox. The 104.5 signal in Indy is very powerful. Cumulus needs to put something on it that'll generate an audience which in turn will generate revenue. Classic hits, not the classic rock that the station's still playing, is the answer.
Here's a good place to cite one group's examples of classic hits. On a Jack station one might hear Three Dog Night's "Joy To The World". However, that song was only one of many, many Top-40 hits for Three Dog Night. A Classic Hits station should also play "One", "Eli's Coming", "Easy To Be Hard", "Old Fashioned Love Song", "Celebrate", "One Man Band", "Out In The Country", "Family Of Man", "Shambala", "Black and White", "Pieces Of April". I maintain that a pop-oriented Classic Hits station would do very well.

rf 1, the only thing I can figure about your posts is that you either have a friend or relative who works at a radio station because it's obvious that you yourself know nothing about radio.
