Yup... I'm about as green as they come... (without being a Frog [yet])I've been in Radio for two years now (part-time) at seven radio stations (two clusters of three and a student station (number 3 ranked in the Southeast, not that anyone cares)) I've only been full-time Radio since April... but I have been on Air for three years...right now I'm doing mornings with Conrad on 104, and nights on 92.3 I hope they leave the music alone myself... and I'm actully pretty confident that they will...as far as i know Forever does not have a "brand" for classic rock... I think that Eagle will switch simply because Forever runs "Froggy country stations" but I think they'll be willing to give Rock a decent run and see with it can do with good leadership before they decide to do anything...the station needs to be tighter and sound better (kinda like when Burke was running it) but i think the music is better now because it appeals to a "bigger variety" anyway... yes I'm green... come on guys, help a newbie learn btw-kix 96 is not superwolf anymore... it's Thomas Media... superwolf has only a lpfm "radio 99"sorry but I have to say one more thing
ok the only real thing that has changed since they left is the jocks and the fact the sales staff is working twice as hard... so... tell me am I really that bad that them leaving has been "painfully obvious"The staff that made Eagle 104 second in the Jackson metro is no longer there as is painfully obvious when you listen to the station. The momentum in the market is definetly with the Thomas Media stations. Not just with the listeners but with the advertisers.
