"just sayin' is all "

(april fool's ; )
If you live in S.A. or are able to listen to 94.1, you'll know that this isn't an April Fool's joke. The station is now simply 94.1. The words Jammin and Old School have been remove from all liners. Sounds like the station will remain jockless until the new format is revealed.

94.9 in Laredo is also "under construction" i picked them up all last night i live in La Joya, Tx, i couldnt even pick up Jammin 104.9 / 95.3 to check if they were doing that under consruction, i was picking up some spanish music outta Corpus. ill get back later on that.

So..what's the new format?

The announcement on 4/1 indicated that the "construction" would take 3 weeks. I guess we'll know next week.

The listener-testimonial snippets they've been playing indicate a lot of support for the music, the morning show and Working Women's Wednesday. My guess from reading between the lines is that those things won't be touched. This could be the simplest "construction project" in the history of construction projects.

Curious about what artists will soon be heard on 94.1? Tune in @ 5pm for the 5 o'clock traffic jam. Here are some of the artists soon to be heard on 94.1-

Mellow Man Ace- Mentirosa
Chubb Rock- Treat 'Em Right
Deee-Lite-Groove Is In The Heart
Newcleus- Jam On It
Stevie B- Dreamin' Of Love
Seduction- (You'Re My One And Only) True Love
Sir Mix-A-Lot- Baby Got Back
Vanilla Ice- Ice Ice Baby
Freestyle- Don't Stop The Rock(Now on rotation)

Where are you getting your information?

So how is that any different than what 94.1 has been playing?
