There was a "Cumulus Network News Service?" I thought they re-purposed CNN content.

Cumulus Media (formerly ABC Radio Networks) merged with Westwood One in 2013 and together they launched the Westwood One news service, powered by CNN. They have their own radio anchors and a handful of their own national correspondents. They've even won some awards:

I remember hearing that the Dickeys started All News 106.7 to be the core for their own Cumulus national news service. That became superfluous when they bought Westwood One in 2013, and launched Westwood One News in 2015.

More than plausible. Fits squarely with the 15-month lifespan of the 2012 AllNews incarnation.

Appreciate the primer on Westwood. I should have known that.
