January 2022 Bay Area Radio PPM Ratings

Why? It is very solid in 25-54. And it is top 5 on average in 18-49!
Not too far back, KISQ was outside the Top 10 in 25-54.

The fact that they're able to have such success in those demos is definitely impressive given the reputation Soft AC has in other markets for being old skewing and hard to sell. Whatever iHeartMedia is doing for KISQ to succeed in money demos and not just 6+ is clearly working, so congratulations to them.
It's kind of still surprising that KISQ is that successful, given that the Bay Area is not exactly a retiree-heavy area. Even KISQ isn't doing too horribly within 18-34. Contrast this with Tampa Bay, where WDUV had to slowly shift to a quasi-classic hits direction to have good 25-54 numbers. WDUV has been Tampa's longtime #1 station but struggled within money demos when they played softer music. Also recently in Philly, WISX had to gradually increase the tempo to remain competitive with WBEB and WOGL.
