Jay Leno To Appear On "Oprah" Today (1/28)

I think Jay will get the ratings back eventually and everything will be fine at NBC. The public has a short memory.

You think people won't somehow remember that this is the second time Jay Leno has manuevered to get control of The Tonight Show? I certainly do, and I'm not that old.

I think, sadly, most people don't care. If they want to see Teri Hatcher, because they're a fan and she is on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", they will tolerate Jay.

I have no allegiance to Jay or Conan. I don't think either is funny. If I'm watching late night TV its "the Daily Show" or "Chelsea Lately". However, I would watch either Jay or Conan based on a guest. As long as NBC continues to draw better guests than Letterman, I think "the Tonight Show" will ultimately return to the top of the ratings.

I sure hope you're right.
To those who don't see the difference between Jay and Conan I don't know what to say. I think Conan impresses me more each time I see him, Leno less each time I see him.
