With impeanding changes to WBZ overnight in the not to distant future wonder if BZ will just pack it in and pick up some syndicated show for the overnight at least Sunday-Thursday.
Not conservative: it would never happen. Brudnoy talked about it but I don't think he was serious (a gay atheist, come on).to get his overnight show
I don't think Steve's "broadcast" would have had a national appeal. It was too New England-oriented. If he would have conformed his show to accomodate a syndicated audience, the essence of the show would have been lost and his loyal listeners would've been turned off.In fact, had Steve Leveille not retired, WBZ should have tried to get his overnight show syndicated (but still based at 1170 Soldiers Field Road). It would have been the perfect nationally syndicated all-night show.
Forget Phil Hendrie——he packed it in, back in June (Buffalo’s 'KB kept airing reruns until they flipped to ESPN a few weeks ago).I can't picture Phil Hendrie or Jim Bohanon on 'BZ.
