mondoradio said:What a joke. Carton is a shock jock, certainly not a watchdog type. His job is to get ratings, and that means throwing anyone he can under the bus to cause controversy and to stir the pot.
Of course he's trying to get ratings, but in this case, he's also doing the people of New Jersey a very important service. With the demise of local news on radio and decrease in newspaper readership, there are fewer people holding people in power accountable. Carton's subject manor may not always be so newsworthy, but in this case, he was dead on.
If the police want to enforce the laws, speeding 1 mile over the speed limit is still speeding, learn to obey the laws. Craig's blowing it out of proportion was just to shake up the lemmings who think that whatever Craig says is Gospel. Wah! Wah! Wah! The police are doing their job and it's costing me money. Pathetic. Who decides what is an acceptable increased speed limit and what is excessive? Oh yea, the ones who implemented the speed LIMIT in the first place. Speed limits aren't suggestions. Read it. Learn it. Live it.
Next, the lemmings will be upset because the police will decide to write you a ticket if they see a person spitting on the sidewalk. Here's a tip for that, don't spit on the sidewalk. If you don't like the law, get it changed. Don't blame the police for enforcing the law.
