Jim Horn is too much...

Multiplexor said:
Sounds like Jim barely escaped having his number called and card punched. I heard they had to nail him like 3 or 4 times with the paddles to get him back. He'll be outta action for while, which is good for what few listeners he has.

While the man is lecherous to work for and sounds horridly OLD on the air, no one wishes death on the man.

This is really uncalled for. Best wishes to Jim for a speedy recovery.

Multiplexor I don't care who you are. I only hope you never endure
such an experience. Your comments are disrespectful and truly
uncalled for. I have known Jim for years and he is a fine broadcaster.
I think the least we can do as fellow broadcasters is wish Jim a speedy
recovery and not post childish comments.

Respectfully
Tim Michaels

Having Porky Pig doing the sports report doesn't help things there either!

Jim Horn = tan shoes with pink shoelaces.
I first heard the song Tan shoes and pink show laces on the Mighty 910 over fifty years ago.

that is extremely mean spirited. we have all disliked many people in life...that one was over the edge. i wish you would have thought more of a human being that does have loved ones in life and people do change on both ends.

Had the pleasure of working with Jim at WSBA for a very short time in 1981, he is a pro, and a long time contributor to Central Pa. radio. Jim, I wish you a speedy recovery, God Bless You.

Dan

While I believe Jim to be a putz and a bozo, I hope he makes a complete recovery and is able to resume his previous lifestyle without compromise.

I thought this board was a "radio" board, for the comment, good and bad, of the medium. Not a personal attack board. Kind of surprised said offender has been asked to "take it outside" by the board moderator.

Correction: Kind of surprised said offender has been NOT asked to "take it outside" by the board moderator. I wish I could type!

Heard today through a friend he is doing OK and could be back to work in a week or so. Not a heart attack and no permanent heart damage.

I don't know Jim Horn, but even if I did, I would not kick him when he's down. Here's hoping Jim fully recovers and returns to work.

This site should have an "ignore" button. One thing this thread did was help spotlight a couple of people I'll certainly ignore from here on.
