Job Relocating to Houston

The restaurant with the closest resemblence to Cajun food is French Quarter Seafood. 2 locations, one on FM1960 @ Eldridge and another on FM 529. I've only been to the 1960 location.

I've never been to those restaurants. Of course when I think New Orleans and French Quarter I certainly don't equate that with good Cajun food. The best real CAJUN food is in and around the Lafayette area (Acadiana). I will have to go try and see what they have.

Sorry to hear...I met the owner and he was a very nice guy...originally from Lafayette.

I'm with you...I'm from the Acadiana area...people in Houston (and most areas outside of south Louisiana) don't know the difference between Cajun & Creole. I've only been in Texas slightly less than 2 years so my memory is still fresh ;)
