I honestly think you are overcomplicating things. She did not want to have an unscripted conversation...period. This wasn't something specific to this particular podcast. This has been the standard operating procedure for her campaign all along. It really reinforced the perception (right or wrong) that people really didn't know who she was. Compound that with the failure to address (or actively marginalize) issues that were of primary concern to the electorate, along with an overemphasis of "identity politics", and that brings you to where we are today. The frustrating part is that all of these so called "experts" are coming out of the woodwork now to say where Kamala, her campaign, and the democrats got it wrong. Where was this "sage advice" before the election...when it could have actually been useful?
