he's well worth it to listen to. I'm happy they put him on there for the next two weeks. I wish he was on Saturday and Sunday nights like he used to be. He used to be on 11pm-2am

So do I. I remember when he would do a morning/midday shift and then the night-time shift. I've always loved his perspective on college football.
yes yes, College Football in depth. Sorry I ment to say Kate Delaney used to be on weekend nights 8pm-11pm, not 11am, sorry, my mistake
Anyways, back about John, despite working weekdays and have to wake up at 4:45am, I still had my radio on until 3am listenning to John Fricke show. He's well worth it to listen to

I'm happy he was on this past week. He's one of the best radio host in radio. He broadcast from Atlanta, Ga, that's where most of todays Hip Hop Groups and Singers are from. They were represending Atlanta playing some Ludacris. That's whass up!!!!

I loved Fricke with Chris Landry during football season. During this past week, when Fricke was on for JT, I was SO happy when Looney took a couple of night's off. Steve Desager is much better with Fricke than Looney. Desager actually loves sports & cares about being accurate, unlike Looney who admits to not even being a journalist & constantly interrupts whoever the host is just to hear himself speak. The audience would be much better served if Looney went back to being a 1980's DJ.

yeah yeah yeah, Steve Desager is madddd cool. He does do an excelent job, and it does sound he's more into his reporting when announcing the Updates. He was also on with Big Ben Maller.
I also liked with John Fricke and Landry had their Football Shows together. I wish they'd put them back on more often.

I agree with you whole heartedly on Desager. I am sorry but you can only take so much JT with his acted out intensity and Looney with his act.

I would think with football season getting to start back in September, I'm sure they'll be back on. Maybe even sooner than that.

Where you all live, whan may you hear Fox Sports Radio on your station?

Over here in Boston, it's on "98.5 The Sports Hub" They have it on Weeknight Overnights Midnight-6am, and on weekends it's on different times and weekend nights/overnights. (If you live withing Boston-with inside Boston, it's hard to pick up this station when you listen on a walkman, any walkman, new or old, I assume it's the same with people live and work inside the city of Boston) once you get out the city, you can pick up that station much better. That station is about a year old

How about in your area?

Fox Sports in on WJDX 620 here. As far as Fox programming goes, we get one hour of the Stephen A. Smith replay (10-11a), the first three hours of Hartman & Friends and then all Fox from 6p-7a the next morning (but pre-empted by Braves baseball and NASCAR. Other times are occupied by local and regional shows and Jim Rome.

Yes, I heard. I heard him on Sunday night (August 8, 2010) 8pm-11pm Eastern Time. Next Sunday Fox Sports Radio Schedule (Premrad.com, On top click "Sports", Then choose "Fox Sports Radio", Then look on the left for their weekly schedule) It states that John Fricke is back on Saturday night 11pm-1am, and Sunday 8pm-11pm. I can't wait to hear him again Sunday night. I can't listen Saturday night because I work at their competitor. One of our stations two hours away has on Fox Sports Radio (we have multiple stations-six-all have ESPN) except the one that is two hours away, I can listen to that one in cue, but I'm gathering post game sound all night for our next live local talk show. I listen at home Sunday night to our competitor and our station. I change it back and forth

Yes they need to have Fricke or "Football Fricke" on Saturday and Sunday nights to talk about the game after they are done, those are the best show instant reactions. I think they had him on the the mornings before the college games and that wasn't as good. I always have listened since Fricke is the best football host they have on FSR.

Well, this is a tremendous mountain of suck....looks like Fricke's gone from FSR. Someone posted on his Facebook about it, and I confirmed that this is the current weekend lineup at the FSR website:

that's not right, it's so sad.
I hope John will resurface on another Sports Talk Network such as "ESPN" or "Sporting News Radio"

I think the Ben Maller Sunday afternoon show might be a mistake. How can he do an overnight into early Sunday morning, then work early Sunday afternoon. That's crazy times!!! If it's true, I will keep Ben Maller in my prayers, because all those hours are (hard labor) sorry to say, but look, it's written right there

So they've gone and flat-out thrown Saturday nights away. Sorry, but Bowden/Lamb are horrifically boring, and Chris "Yawn" Myers has lulled me to sleep regardless of the time slot he's in. How in the hell Myers can have a perpetual time slot with FSR is beyond me. Are they THAT desperate to have at least one link between Fox Sports TV and the radio network?

For the record, the final hour of Maller's overnight show is a rerun. He's only live for five hours.

Any why is Andy Furman's show still a pairing? IMO, he should be going solo.

I was wondering why Chris Myers was on tonight. How can Fox get rid of Fricke right during college football season? And why in the heck do you play Chris Myers on Saturday night? This should be reserved for reviewing the day in college football--which means live shows and call-ins! If Fricke is indeed gone, this is one of Fox's worst moves ever!

Here is Fricke's only comment on his Facebook page regarding his status at FSR. He posted it on Saturday afternoon:

"Hope to get a chance to do some major fill in, but yes they have reworked the weekends."
