John Webster Out at Rock 107

I see Shamrock's true colors are now shining [sic]. They look decent from the outside but inside, it's a lousy place to work...

The "Silver Shamrock" organization from the movie "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" looks like it has more class than Shamrock Broadcasting.

They will miss Webster. It's that Shamrock-family mentality. They con folks to come into their organization and once there they handcuff them and dictate to them. When it fails it's not one of the family. This continues on and on. Loftus, Histed, Beshore to name a few any bets on the new GM.

Thats why Jim Davies was so effective there. He was the crap buffer. He kept the crap from trickling down to the staff from the Madness that was Bill lynetts insane mind...

God Bless Lumpy!!!

Kevin was a jerk to everyone who he worked with. He was an ass to the interns, and walked through the entercom hallways like he owned the place. Good riddance! it would be a shame if it happened to a good guy, but when it happens to people like that, then the get what they deserve. John Webster on the other hand deserved better than what he got at Shamrock, I hope he's happy over at Entercom

Shamrock has a great track record at treating people like crap...

What they did to Jim Rising is reprehensible. Then when Bill brought in Tom Harpster years ago to be a hatchet man, and trim
deadwood, because Bill was to much a coward to do so... Thats was extremely irresponsible behavior.

I feel for what that staff goes thru there, and I too wish John much happiness at his new home. He is a great talent, and he deserves some peace in his career... 30 years w/ the Lynetts should be reason for Canonization at the Vatican....
