Clarification: For about a week or two, I was the full owner of the site. In that short period of time, I took steps to restore the ownership and management of the site to Lance Venta who was the rightful heir to it. So I was an intermediary, there to fulfill Frank's last wishes that the site be maintained and always improved.

But, as a moderator... I am now at the will and wish of Lance. He sets policy and delegates to the team of moderators like Fybush and Huff and Michi and myself the responsibility of checking the boards as much as we can. Often we send "private" messages to Lance when we don't want to delete a post without consultation.

And, hehehe , I don't read every post. Tomorrow I have to be up, alert and coffee-imbibed at 6 AM to deal with an imaging refresh on some stations in Chile. That pays the bills around here; and that points out that none of us moderators make money off this and we do it for some kind of satisfaction :giggle: ... as you have pointed out.
Thank you for your service and your expertise, David. Although we don't always agree, I do appreciate your knowledge and efforts here. I was unaware that Lance was the owner of the site. As a long-time subscriber here I'm happy to hear that. Lance was instrumental at the old radio-info.com created by Doug Fleming. I suspect that if Doug had lived that site would still be alive and lively. It was missed when it was gone.

@SirRoxalot You may want to read this thread where we announced it a few weeks ago (https://radiodiscussions.com/threads/honoring-the-past-looking-to-the-future.772193/). Doug wasn't the original sole founder of what became Radio-Info.. I was.

None of us read every thread or post. That's why the report post button is there. The moderators are here as group leaders and industry experts moreso than babysitters, but intervene when necessary, but they all have sole judgment to do what is necessary for a thread. We're all adults here and should be able to self-police one another.

Also after being away for a family get-together this weekend. I think its time to close this thread.
