Am I the only one who finds it a bit shady that these random "brand new" posters show up only to never be seen or heard from again?? At least not under THAT screename anyway. :

If you mean me, i'm not shady. I never heard of this board before, but I usually listen to Dennis + Judi to get traffic and weather. Even tho I'm often turned off by their conservative invective, racism, sexism, etc, at other times i do enjoy listening to them. When I hadn't heard Judi on for a while I started googling around to find out what happened, and this board was the only place I found any info.

I prob won't be posting here again, i was only curious about what happened. But yes, I am a real person, not someone else in disguise!

NJ is a blue state. We're liberal, Democrats, and voted in Obama. I always wondered why Dennis and Judi would get on the air and rant like a couple of backwoods rednecks and pretend the entire state felt the same. I mean -- do what you want on the air, but don't call it NEW JERSEY's radio station.

Judi seemed to feel that women belonged in the kitchen, serving their family first, and yet hypocritically, it was ok for HER to have a job. So maybe she just decided to stay home. On the other hand, don't be surprised if she turns up solo in another market.

I'd welcome the station giving a more accurate representation of ALL of NJ.

I think NJ 101.5 is pretty balanced and doesn't lean one way or the other politically. The personalities on the station call it like they see it. If you listened back when Christie Todd Whitman was Governor, you will know that the people that were on at the time were highly critical of her. Now we have Jon Corzine who has been an embarrassment to the state with his gimmicks, raising all kinds of taxes in the worst of times, and expanding government to provide jobs for his friends - the money for those jobs has to come from somewhere, so what do you think he'll do? I'd bet the farm on him finding more taxes to raise. It doesn't matter what party he belongs to - Corzine is pathetic, and I think the media needs to make people aware of it ... remember, they live in this state as well, so they have reason to be concerned.

Obama? The media was in the tank for him because they're biased. So little mention was made of his lack of experience (two years as a U.S. Senator, no executive experience), his negative associations (Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Corzine, etc.) and his dangerous group connections (look up The Bilderberg Group - Obama is a member, and they want the U.S. to crash and burn) and it's astonishing that we elected him. People failed to do research when voting for a Presidential candidate, and now we have a big-spending, bailout-loving Socialist who will have us paying $20 for a loaf of bread if he has his way. I didn't think McCain was much better, so the fact that these were our two major party choices just proves that America spends more time focusing on utter frivolity like Dancing With The Stars and American Idol than selecting the person who will lead our country for the next 4 years.

And let's not forget - we're a union state. The Democrats have always protected and pandered to the unions, and that's how they get voted in time and time again. The playing field has to be leveled, and that's why I appreciate hearing the discussion of politics on NJ 101.5. They'll come down on anyone if they support stupid legislation, which is what print and television media should be doing but isn't.
