I wonder how out of no where KMXP just pops up and beats everybody? That used to be KOOL or KFYI or even KEZ's "job".
KMXP is a good station, but I wouldn't say they are all THAT great. I do like KBIG's format style strategy a little more.

If by "good" you mean "bland and repetitive", sure. But they're hardly an out of nowhere, Cinderella story, type of thing. They've been at or above 6.2 in five straight periods.

Put Dennis Miller on at a normal time, and say good bye to Hugh Hewitt, his show has become a christian evangelical talkfest lately... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Only thing they got going for them is that they beat 1100, but so does static....

Salem won't drop one of their wholly-owned shows, so Hewitt's not going anywhere. Miller is problematic to run in any kind of decent daypart thanks to its oddly timed live feed, as 7-10a doesn't really work here unless Salem wants to pull a KFYI and run the rest of their programs on a one-hour TD (given that Phoenix is a big source of callers, that's clearly not on the table), and running Miller (live or canned) in any daytime position interferes with the Salem all-our-owned-shows-in-one-block philosophy, anyway. (Although that's seeing more than a few cracks in major markets already, especially the hodgepodge that KRLA has become and KSKY is becoming.)
