WJMH has a very weak signal in South Boston, and I don't think WQMG makes it at all---otherwise, Mecklenburg, Brunswick, Nottoway, Charlotte Counties VA will no longer have ANY urban, not to mention a few counties in NC (Vance, Warren, etc) which will be very doubtful. All of these counties have a high African American population, and others who like to listen urban. 97.5 has also written off the Rocky Mount-Wilson market where they were one of the top rated stations. Radio One should be ashamed of their stupid move and the FCC should never have allowed it---97.5 has been a VA station for 40 years and had a large listenership there. R-1 is blowing them off to save money, though they are one of the top stations in Raleigh-Durham.
